Clay Pigeon Shooting

£35 subs; £20 social subs

The RVC Clay Pigeon Shooting Team gives our members the opportunity to try out and develop existing shooting skills. Subsidies from the SU mean that what could be considered an expensive hobby is affordable on a student budget! We cater for all ability levels, whether you’re a hot shot or have never held a gun, with reduced price lessons at our local shooting ground. Guns are provided, although feel free to bring your own as we can store them in the university cabinets.

Shooting is every Wednesday afternoon and occasional weekends. We also attend and run several competitions throughout the year including inter-university shoots. We have many social events with one being run every Wednesday after the day’s shooting, both in Potters Bar and London.

Tour is a major feature on our calendar each year; in 2013 we visited Cyprus and in 2014, Poland.

For more information about the club, please contact our captain George at ghockley3@rvc.ac.uk, check out our facebook page at /RVCCPST, and come to our stand at Freshers’ Fair!
