EBVM Skills Day Volunteers Needed!

September 28, 2015 Georgia Nicholson-Thomas

Once again RCVS Knowledge are having an event and would like for RVC students to volunteer!

The event: EBVM Skills Day will take place on the 30th of October 2015 at Church House in London (near Westminster); it’s a one day seminar that closes the gap between EBVM theory and daily veterinary practice, equipping practitioners/academics with the tools they need to make evidence-based veterinary medicine work for them. It will be a mix of plenary talks and breakout talks, which the volunteers will be able to watch. There is more information about the event here.

What we are looking for: 4 volunteers to work from 8.15 – 18.00 including 2 breaks and a lunch break (lunch/refreshments will be provided). We will reimburse travel expenses. The volunteers must have previous experience in a customer service/front of house role, we would need to see CVs of the students to ensure they are suitable for the role.

I have attached a document which explains what the duties and expectations will be, could you please send it round with your email? We are happy for you to choose the people who volunteer, as long as we can see their CVs to verify their previous experience.

If you have any questions please let me know.
