Visit 'Teddy' the dog on your lunch break and earn some pocket money!

September 23, 2015 Georgia Nicholson-Thomas

Hi there!

I am a (very) local dog owner to the RVC – in Brookmans Park...

My vet in the village is an ex student from the college and recommended contacting you to see if you could help with a new situation for us.

From the end of September our dog -a very soppy 5 year old Briard called Teddy- will need someone to come and let him out /say hello/ throw a ball around in the garden etc for aprox 15 minutes 3 days a week! (likely to be Monday/Tuesday and Thursday) – term time only.

I know lots of your students live locally and this would suit someone with their own transport - although it is easily walkable too!

As this would mean accessing the house we would want to be able to meet the person first..and also for them to meet Teddy and be ok with him too!

It’s not really a career building job and as such the salary would really be more like pocket money, but if you think it’s feasible then perhaps you would be kind enough to let me know how we could move this forward?

Many thanks
